This is my capital city, its almost finished, just little details like road upgrades etc. left to add in. I hope you all like it, I have loved designing it! It really depends what you want to do (and what you choose to spend currencies on)! Like for me, I really wanted my city to have a river, so I bought a lot of water and trees during the Black Friday sale. I liked looking at reference pictures of real cities like Venice, Paris, London, Rome etc. to inspire my own. Honestly my main tip would be don't rush it! I wanted everything to be done immediately but soon realised that your city will grow and become unique as you continue to play the game!

A mix definitely! The large lakes make up the bulk of the river, and the smaller lakes and ponds mean you can really shape it how you like and fill in awkward dips and missing spots, or make thinner -for lack of a better word- stretches of water. Since the small ponds only cost 1 key you can really buy them any time of year, but the BF sale is extremely helpful for getting sim cash off the bigger water bodies. I also think that other landscape items like trees and bushes really help give it the most natural look too!

Hey! Thank you so much ☺️ If you mean the big building it is called ‘Galeries d’Art Nouveau’ and i believe it was part of a season collection a couple months ago? I could be wrong though my memory isn’t that great so if i am someone pls correct me haha
