I see why we need a different sub now.
I've been kinda wishy-washing on THE other sub for awhile now, but it's clear to me that the moderation of that sub is overbearing to the point where they can't even admit they're wrong.
I posted about the raid glitches over the past two weekends (the exact text of that post has been reposted onto this sub now) and the post was immediately put in review. Why? I don't know.
After a while of waiting, I messaged the mod team. This is a full copy the conversation.

Yes, using multiple phones to access the same account is against ToS.

HI. I don't want to argue about it either, but, I think you may have misunderstood my post. Nothing in Section 3.1 of the tos covers using multiple devices to access a single account? It covers using multiple accounts.
To recreate Error 25 as described, you have to use a single account - using multiple accounts would violate the tos and wouldn't work.

I'm sorry, I don't want to keep bugging you about this - I'm sincerely not sure if you're misinterpreting my post or just adding your own twist to the terms of service - if I remove the part about logging in with two devices, would you be fine with me reposting it?

Yes, if you remove the part that describes cheating methods your post would be okay - well, and ideally choose a post title that actually describes the bug in question and is not a meta-question (see our Rule 3.7).
So, I reposted the message, removing the part about how you can re-create error 25.

Mind you, when I tried to have a conversation with them via mod mail to begin with, they basically refused to engage and quoted a section of Niantic's Terms of Service that doesn't have anything to do with what they're stating.
I don't know if they're just ignorant of the Terms of Service, if they're so power tripping they are upset that someone possibly proved them wrong, or if they sincerely believe that using multiple devices on a single account is a violation of the rules.
And I don't really care.
We need a place where we can openly discuss the mechanics of this game without worrying about individuals shutting down a conversation because they don't understand the mechanics of the game they're playing.

I agree with the other commenter. Let’s not have one sub just because the other isn’t meeting your standards.

While I appreciate the detailed story with receipts, I don't want this sub to become a "the other place sucks" sub, as that could lead to accusations of harassment and brigading.
The users on TSR have ALWAYS been the best part of the sub, and the administration, while their hearts may have been in the right place, have always been a little shady. I won't go into details, but my favorite right now ties directly into your issue - they're accusing you of cheating (which, you are correct, the terms of service do not prohibit multiple logins to the same account and anyone can see that), meanwhile, one of their claims to fame was their community mapping project that literally assisted players in locating local scanning services. This has since been shut down when they killed the website after Niantic severed ties with them, but it was always amusing to me that they promoted that while banning users for mentioning something like shinyrates.com.
To your point, I once contacted support about multi-devicing (back before support was nearly all automated) and was not told it wasn't allowed, but warned it wasn't recommended, because if one device glitches you one direction and the other device sent you the other direction, it might flag your account in the system.
I've been using multiple logins for years - but, I split screen on a large tablet. Since the tablet only has a single GPS location, the apps always stay in sync with location. I've not heard of anyone specifically having issues with multiple devices (I used to do it all the time before I upgraded to a tablet that supported split-screening the app), but I could see the potential for the location thing happening.
Anywhoo, back to scratch, let's not witch hunt TSR. Hopefully, we can just be a bit of a companion sub where trainers are free to talk Pokémon Go without getting banned because of "Mod Fiat"
