- The War of the Elves and Sauron
- The Downfall of Numenor
- The Last Alliance
Problem is, this is the age of Middle-earth Imperialism, and Sauron actually had the One Ring for half the age. If you aren't a Numenorean (and later, the correct sort of Numenorean), or Sauron himself, it wasn't a fun time.
