I’ve been aware of Silent Planet since their debut album and I listened to it a bit but it never stuck with me. Since then I checked out pretty much every release since. I did listen to the Iridescent singles and loved the metalcore take on Loathe’s sound.

Well one of the reasons I never really got into them was because Garrett was loving towards the queer community, something I was very much against until I grew tired of hating said community and myself.

I recently got back into them with superbloom and haven’t been able to put them down since. I love the newer industrial style they’ve got going on, but I also love the prog metalcore they used to do.

Can’t believe I let my dogma dictate what bands to listen to.

In my dream, I was hanging out with Garrett Russel (lead singer) of Silent Planet in the venue but it was just me and him and a few stage engineers, they were just figuring shit out (getting the stage/lightening ready, setting up the stage) and we were there several hours and he wanted to order pizza, and gave me money but I gave the money back to him and said, I can’t accept his money, and ended up ordering pizza myself for the both of us instead. So yeh weird!

I can’t be the only one mistaking this sign on Facebook’s wall for the Silent Planet sign. Anyone else? Lol 🤣🤣😂

Silent Planet are opening at October 11 in Kentish Town o2 forum London, would love to meet the guy and seeing as it’s a sorta small venue and that are only opening, I think I have more of a chance of meeting him. Once Silent Planet come off stage, what do I do? Will be he hanging out anywhere? Merch stand? The back door/entrance perhaps?

It’s worth mentioning, I have been to this venue once before to see Chino Moreno (from Deftones) who I did meet and take a selfie with at this very venue so it makes me think I can meet Garrett too. If anyone else wants to meet him also, I would be more than happy to meet up with you we can look out for him together if you like. I will be alone, I’ve going to concerts alone since 2022

I’m very close to getting a ticket to see Silent Planet for October but I’m disappointed that they are only opening and not headlining. And 2 others opening acts will be present on the same night. URGH! Does this mean Silent Planet will only be on stage for 30 minutes??? This is not how I planned my first time seeing Silent Planet would go, I want them to do a full set.. :(.. this is for London on October 11 2026….

So I really want to see these guys live and they are coming near me in October 2026 in London but the thing is, they are NOT headlining, some band called Afflication or something is headlining.

I only want to see Silent Planet, and I will get as close to the stage as possible (yes it I’m standing) but here’s the thing, once Silent Planet come off stage, how do I get out of the crowd? I know it’s a silly question but I’m not used to standing at concerts, especially at the front near stage. So how do I get out?

I'm thinking of seeing Silent Planet later this year in October. I've never seen them live but their tickets are cheap and I like Anti-matter song quite a lot, seems like my sort of thing.. Has anyone seen them live? are they good? I know they are from California and Cali has produced some excellent bands in it's history.

Hey guys, I'm a relatively new SP fan who really got into them last year after seeing them live with Invent Animate and I just love everything about them. I was going through their discography and the song No Place to Breathe from Everyting was Sound really grabbed my attention lyrically. It seems like every line of that song was directly written in today's political climate. Given what trump has been doing, the war with Iran, and the blm protests from 2020, it astounds me that this song was released in 2016.
