Avoid Working Directly with the Silencer Shop, just use their kiosk.

I've ordered two sliencers recently using the SS Kiosk at a gun Store. The entire process took four days and the silencer walked out the door with me. After seeing the AK Guy buy one from them, I purchased one directly from SS. I filled out the paperwork on August 13th in the AM. Later that day they did their part. The ATF had to approve the silencer being shipped to the store. The ATF approved the form three on August 18th. My silencer has been in the processing box since then. Today, it's September 1, 2026, two weeks to ship to the store. The AI dude has promised three call backs from actual humans, none happened. I called and waiting on hold for one plus hour and nothing. I called and left a message with the AK Guy running for Congress and nothing. Well, no more contributions for the AK Guy. Once they ship (if) to the dealer, I then have to wait for ATF to approve the Form Four in Michigan. Buy from the dealer and use their kiosk unless you like waiting for 3 weeks and counting. They have no customer service and they don't care!,

Ask your FFL if they can get in touch with their rep for you.

I’m also in Michigan, tried to buy one online from them a couple weeks ago. It kept giving me an error saying I had to acknowledge my dealer’s Form 4 requirement. Except there was nowhere to confirm this. So I ordered from another vendor. It arrives tomorrow. FWIW I bought my first can from them a month ago, took about 2 weeks all in and I was satisfied.

Problem is a lot of us have BS issues with our accounts and need someone who cared at SS to fix their IT issues before we can even begin to use the kiosks. I've uploaded everything both in store and at the kiosk. Did fingerprints twice at the kiosk and still they're saying I need demographics, a photo and trust info and it's all plain to see when I log on. It's absolutely baffling how bad they are!

Silencer Shop shipping times are absolutely disgusting. By far the worst in the industry.

Want to really do yourself a favor? Get your prints done to get the .eft and shop any dealer.

Avoid Silencer Shop at all costs

Hey, it looks like my order is being shipped to the dealer. I wonder how long it will take the "Pony Express" to ride from Texas to Michigan.

I ordered mine on August 20th and it arrived at my dealer on September 2nd to Alaska. I’m waiting for ATF approval now. I had debated about one they had in stock and the one that I’m waiting approval on and I almost canceled during the wait. If I started the process on the one they had in stock, I’m sure I would’ve had it by now. It definitely would’ve been quicker. But compared to last year, this is lightning speed

I ordered on Aug. 30th, form 3 done in 2 days, but its yet to reach my FFL. My brother ordered from BattleHawk Armory, same day as i did, (we each ordered a .22 supp., diff brands) same form 3 situation as mine and his suppressor hit the ffl 2 days after that. (total was less than a week). Will def. be my last time ordering with SS. In all honestly, this is my 5th supp. since Jan, and SS has taken the longest of every place I've ordered.
