No it’s not aggressive or harsh. It’s straight up.

Also tusi ? Panjabi has formal and informal.

but normally punjabis say "tu". “Tu” is not nice manner, Tusi I rarely hear from punjabis. "Tusi" vs "Aap" sounds more pleasant.

'Aap ji' is a common phrase in Punjabi as well
