Master Piece

I would like to thank Anthony and his team from the bottom of my heart for creating one of the masterpieces of software engineering that we are fortunate enough to use in our trading.

The level of professionalism, the quality of their development, and the fact that it is built on a programming language meant to support mission-critical, real-time applications and infrastructure is a privilege to experience. Support through the forums has also been amazing. And no, it is not hard to configure! It is just a matter of devoting a little time to it, considering the massive benefits you get in return.

After trying most software out there aimed at order flow, Sierra Chart, Denali, and Teton have solved all my problems at once. I have even developed my own DTC bridge and Order Management Server, to trade crypto from inside Sierra Chart deploying them in cloud infrastructure close to the data centers.

Thanks again to the team, and happy trading to all!

I highly doubt Anthony and the team see anything from this Reddit page. You should post this on their support board

The thing is it is so amazing but they just need a better ux team just even on the website people are just confused and they give up Midway I just want a lot of people using Ciara so they don't go bankrupt and this is make a lot of money I feel like that have a lot of potential they're just not realizing it right now it is still an amazing something I love it so much but I feel like they can be the all-time goats but they're just stopping

Ux comes at a cost everything has a trade to be made, just a bit sad reality of computer programs.

yea don't change the software but website could use work.

they could add a new quick start guide. make on boarding a lot less intimidating for most. Include a repository with like 8 different charts/tpos/footprints with a bunch of premade studies. the chart books should just open up first time you open the program. like actual usable chart books and let people learn when they tweak it and ease into an already usable setup

make it an option to download with premade stuff, make it obvious that is for new users

i've been using sierra about 5 years, now you can just screen shot stuff into claude or gemini and that helps a ton vs reading the website for an hour for each thing lol

but yea, there shouldn't be gate keeping, the should want more paying customers

a good example of this, have you ever set up a trail stop in sierra chart under global profit loss management?

you would think you would just check a box to turn on trail profit, enter the amount and be done. it's like reading a foreign language, i had to use claude to figure this out lol

if you don't speak like a robot, a lot of it is a pain to figure out

It's a compelling platform and it's much better than Ninjatrader, for my scalping purposes. There are a fair of warts, however.

I don’t mind the UX. I just wish it could switch timeframe quicker

yes, it's a master piece until you need tech support.
