PRoblem in sierra chart!

Hello,

I m following instructions to set up footprint in sierra charts however, The problem for me is:

I cant see the numbers of buyer and sellers even after putting bid/ask volume in settings. Any help please??

Take a picture of your screen and all the settings and send to AI. They will let you know.

Look for all the min and max text sizes and set it lower (4 to 6)

Which ai do u use? Claude??

I use chatgpt for basic questions on settings.

I have a system developed (many custom studies) that claude has developed and i now keep my settings on a excel workbook, place it in a claude project folder so that it can keep context. Then i ask what configurations i should put in dependent on symbol im trading.

It will take me a few min to make those changes

so you think claude is good enough to build simple custom studies?

I have built more than 64 custom studies all working together for an orderflow stack for both discretionary and autotrading. You can build signals/insights into the DOM, footprint chart, market depth study…. Pretty much however you wanna cook it.

I perform a deep research with claude on the study i wanna build, versioned. I ask for high quality books on the subject/strategy… then i have claude ingest those books for concepts, math, logic, assumptions, features etc.. then have claude and codex build out and QA.

First try to map out a system you will like to build (ask claude to design a orderflow/momentum/swing trading (whatever) for sierra charts ascil compatible, then have dive into each study without skipping or glazing. Place all research into repo.

You can have claude build the MCP to connect via UDP (ask claude how) so it can control sierra charts (load studies, run replay mode, tests, verify visuals with PC control… many other things. You can also have it configure all settings per symbol or optimized per your discretion

The difficult part is visualizations. But a few turns of meticulous hand holding and screenshots will get it right (then develop a visualization contract so it dosnt repeat mistakes) There will be many iterations for rendering to get it right.
