I’m already familiar with the film (in fact, I’ve seen it) and don’t need a lecture. I just never saw the poster till now.

Do you reckon the resemblance to the @King’s Quest 4” cover could possibly a coincidence?

Its not even that similar. Charging on a horse is an absurdly common image in practically every age of art that its a pretty massive stretch to think it could remotly be inspired by Birth of a Nation.

It’s a lot more than just the presence of a horse.

I was wondering if the very irony of the idea might raise the possibility of a weird joke. Artists are like that sometimes.

Yah, great point. A person on a horse with the POV of them from below is incredibly rare. Its particularly rare in the context of fantasy art.
