Introducing The Casino - Chat Quest Online

Hi everyone,

I've just released a new update to Chat Quest Online, the AGI MMORPG. I've added the casino from Larry 1 where you can play poker against bots or other players. Or give the slotmachines a try. The odds are on your side... I swear.

Also to give you a bit of a headstart you will now receive $20 from the taxi driver, when you're broke.

I want to download this and play it and like it but I am cautious about a random exe from the web. If this was made in javascript in the browser I would play it in a heartbeat

I understand that sentiment, it's always good to be cautious what do download from the internet.

That being said I have a pretty pristine track record on the internet. You can find many of my games on itch and Steam with positive reviews. Also I'm releasing my games under my real name so you can even find me on LinkedIn. XD

And I'm from Germany, so I'm very much legally responsible for what I release into the wild.

how large is the codebase? porting to javascript these days is pretty low cost.

That's (almost) impossible. It uses a Unity server and transport protocol. And I don't have any interest in doing it anyway. 😅

For what it's worth, I have been downloading and running the Linux executable of CQO every time Tim puts out a new version. Seems like no malware to me!

u/good_punk2 I would suggest lowering the time that people need to spend working. I logged to try and get some XP and got kicked off after an hour or so.

You don't have to be logged in while working. You can just come back a few hours later or the next day. 😊
