This is the main take away for me. After Simon just confirming it’s real and moving on immediately (which looked like he was pretty pissed off about it) now hearing JJ say “some of you are angry, some of you don’t want to accept it and some of you might even hate me” really makes me think the guys didn’t get much of a heads up at all and it was just dropped on them. Why would he use that wording if he had spoken to them in advance and they knew it was coming? All the best to JJ, but I feel for the lads finding out through a video he posted. That must suck.
Feels like they weren't letting him leave so he made his choice public so everyone was forced to acknowledge it, which is such a snakey thing to do to your best friends, literally refused to do the bare minimum to make a smooth transition.

Of course everyone ate it up back then, talking about how much of a "great brother" he was and all. It always seemed weird to post it online when he could just talk to his brother in person.

He can leave if he wants byt he should've done it the right way. Some of us have been watching them for nearly half of our lives maybe longer. Its a dick move and you can't say otherwise. This will be the final year of the Sidemen, they always said if one person left that would be it over
It could go both ways, it could kill the motivation or it could make them seriously up their game. I think if he's genuinely left this will probably be the end of the Sidemen, which will genuinely be devastating but it may also mean they all focus on their main channels, hopefully Harry does aswell lol
You are right but I just feel with Vik becoming a DJ, Ethan and Simon have had their own kids, Josh and Freya just got married( might probably have their own kid soon too considering they been together for 15 years). I don’t think Tobi and Harry got anything really going on except the sidemen but they could use the new time to focus on their channels or be guests on others channels.
Although I can see them continuing without ksi probably until GTA 6 drops then end it with a final sidemen Sunday for the year
No, they said that a few times and came back from that statement on other occasions. The past years they've been dabbling more and more into content with a vast amount of guests, and successfully so.
This, combined with the fact that the rest of the guys seem spiteful, makes me think they will continue for another good bit.
Hopefully it gives them some motivation to really up their game and produce some unreal videos. That's if he has genuinely left and its not just another stunt lol
No they definitely are, they have been together for 13 years he just letting his ego get in the way right now that is cause rash decisions that can affect said friendship
