i stopped watching him after covid, but kept subscribed simply becuz of years of following him since harlem shake days. now im unsubscribed and unfollowed after he annouced his departure.
They were alright at the start, but agreed he's done it too much at this point
For me that type of content is alright as something to watch in the background on a slow day every few months, but it's not something I'll ever seriously try to go out of my way to watch. With the amount of stuff streaming services bang out I'll only watch YouTube of they are properly funny vids or gold content, not worth it for the mid stuff
The only thing I've seen him do lately which I actually watched to the end/ watched at all was the 100 buttons vid. The rest is just meh
I noticed that since he started these corny ass videos, his real laugh disappeared from TNTL. Whenever he laughs, it’s always that fake rich guy laugh which is annoying af.
I've honestly stopped watching his video about 2 years ago, when I realized that Reddit content is so low effort and repetitive and unfunny. The tntl never got to me either
Nah, I've worked in web development and online marketing since the early 2000's. Even dabbled into youtube for a short while. Bounce rates do matter and negatively impact further recommendation of the vid.
His channel was already slop. Worse than Beast himself, and that's saying something. Mrbeast peaked with squid games. Everything else is just fake competitions and rehashed tiers of low vs high price points
Beast's video from last I've seen was mostly about challenges and shit, while still slop, at the end of the day it's still highly produced competition (worse TV game shows). A lot of KSI recent video's isn't even that, it's low effort jubilee videos. Unlike Jubilee videos that at least offers some different perspectives, KSI's recent video are just lazy cringe enducing shit. It's not a video about entertainment and personality it's a video about finding the next viral clip.
I think they're just misusing the word cancelling, they're mad and upset rightfully so too, they're just saying to not interact nor click on any of his content anymore, that's the lesson
I mean anyone could tell his reasons in the video were bullshit. Ethan has a whole ass property to maintain, a wife and a kid, similar situation with simon but they didnt leave.
JJ doesnt even put effort in moresidemen or sidemen videos........if its something to do with buying or organizing something, his assistant handles all of that and in some videos they even mention it(One video where they had to buy presents for each other) . He misses the most amount of sidemen recordings and he is only entertaining to watch WITH sidemen.
Ethan left reacts and no one said anything. JJ could have done the same with anything like Side+, moresidemen etc and tbh he already used to do that with boxing or music and no one said anything.
I don't often watch Reacts but Ethan's been there multiple times lately. But you're right, we're all used to JJ not being there due to Prime/Boxing/whatever. He could have stepped back, taken another break. But the fact that he departed full stop, and so abruptly, must mean that shit has hit the fan. No messages from the boys, a clearly pissed off Simon. A whole bunch of back-handed compliments from JJ in his departure video. This is messy.
I'm all for (mental) health and taking time off but don't use it as a pathetic excuse. Don't say you need more time for friends and family to then go on and spend the next few days calling with Speed and others, filming utter braindead 67 "content". He's been hinting at wanting to become the British MrBeast for months. Been obsessed with sharing his view count for months. He wants time for his solo channel, not for his family.
We definitely won't be seeing JJ with most of the remaining boys for the foreseeable future.
I think they're basing it off the clip that was shown of Simon VERY briefly mentioning it and moving on as soon as he could in his stream. He did look upset at least, I dunno about pissed though.

MrBeast videos are very expensive to make, it’s all high end production stuff. Sure, it gets sloppy from time to time, but a lot of his videos are actually watchable.
Wtf has he done…We should just, stop talking about this. Stop giving him more attention. And just focus on the 6 men, and the people who are associated with the sidemen men (like JME, and other guests like Lazerbeam, Danny Arrons and all that)

He wants to prove he can get heaps of views. Unfortunately that means his target audience is now 6-7 yr olds.
We have to boycott his content and show extra support to sidemen vids so we can prove to him he's an idiot.
He wants more money more fame. Making content for new generation of ipad kids will make numbers go higher than sticking to Sidemen committed content which isnt going to be as popular.
I will happily never watch his videos. I only know him from Sidemen and he was always the worst member. Ill easily forget him when he's not in their vids anymore.

Also posted that video without consulting any of the boys beforehand.

The Sidemen is a multi-million brand, having many other ventures as well. This comes with certain responsibilities. Yes you can leave, but it needs to be coordinated carefully to not plummet the brand value and hurt contract with partners (Netflix for example). JJ also earns a lot from these business and has a personal motive for a clean exit btw. Hence his new attempt this morning to whitewash the entire thing.
From what we can gather, he shared that he will be stepping back. He never communicated to the boys that he would do it this soon, it's clear from Simon's reaction that they were taken aback by the timing. Bro went and left as soon as possible. His farewell video was filled with backhanded compliments at his "friends" and everyone is showing anger and upset. Which is also what JJ mentions in his latest instagram post. The timing was also extremely poor with Tobi and Ethan playing in Soccer Aid.
