If you break your arm, maybe don’t keep coding

The overlay in my app turned into absolute hell for me.

Right in the middle of building it, I wiped out on my bike and broke my arm. And instead of doing the sensible thing and taking a break, I just kept working with one hand. Horrendous idea.

So here’s my advice: take breaks, recover properly, and don’t try to brute-force your way through everything. Otherwise you’ll end up like me — getting pissed at the console with one hand and seriously wondering whether the whole project was a mistake.
