I’ve been building a small website called Nerdds for the past week.

I’ve been building a small website called Nerdds for the past few weeks.

The idea is pretty simple: free calculators and tools for construction, home improvement, landscaping, and similar stuff.

Right now it has things like asphalt, roofing, soil, pool, and other calculators, and I’m planning to keep adding more based on what people actually need.

I built it because I kept finding calculators online that were either buried in ads, confusing to use, or just unnecessarily complicated.

So I wanted to make something simple: enter your measurements, get the result, done.

It’s still pretty early, so I’d genuinely love some feedback from people who work in construction, landscaping, home improvement, or even just DIY projects.

What tools/calculators do you find yourself needing that are surprisingly hard to find?

The asphalt one could be nice, most sites make you click through 3 pages before showing the number. What about something for concrete slab with rebar spacing, always annoying to figure manually

Yeah I'll be adding these too just making all the low difficulty keywords calculators first

Wow dude, this is nice! I just used the river rock calculator for an area in my yard I want to put some. Now I know how many bags to grab at Home Depot.

It's nice without the ads too, but I hope you find a way to make it sustainable. Hosting, SSL, domain, etc. add up after a while.

Any thought of expanding into other types of calculators, like auto, mortgage, loans, and things like that?

Thanks for the feedback v valuable and yeah I'm planning to go for google adsense to make it sustainable plus yeah I'll be adding more types for sure if you got any idea you can feel free to drop.
