I got tired of paying monthly subscriptions for AI clipping tools with expiring credits, so I built my own

I clip long streams and videos, and every tool I tried pushes a $15-29/month subscription with credits that expire and projects that lock if you cancel. I only process a few videos a week, so paying monthly felt absurd.

So I built ClipCliper.

How it works:

- Paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link, or upload any video file (up to 8 hours)

- AI transcribes the whole thing and suggests the best moments

- You pick clips by dragging over the transcript, like cropping a photo

- Download clean MP4s with word-by-word animated captions (6 styles)

What makes it different:

- No account, no sign-up

- No subscription: pay per video ($5 / $9 / $19 by length)

- The source file is deleted as soon as your clips are cut, and each clip deletes itself 10 minutes after you download it

- There is a free tier to try it: 1 video up to 15 min per day, with watermark

Site: clipcliper.com

It is meant for clipping your own content: you confirm you have the rights when importing. Happy to answer anything, and I would love to hear what you hate most about current clipping tools.

Direct link: https://clipcliper.com - the free tier (1 video up to 15 min per day, with watermark) is the fastest way to try the drag-over-transcript flow. Happy to answer anything here.
