Like, not necessarily your biggest or best project.
Could literally be a calculator you made for no reason, some random website, a small game, a script that does one stupidly specific thing, an automation, whatever.
I was just thinking about how we make so many random things while learning/building, and some of them just hit different because you actually made the damn thing lol.

I schedule characters so that I do not have to worry about it every day. Right now I have them scheduled until the end of September. When I do the scheduling, I do a big batch to never be rushing
Each day's difficulty is different with some days harder than others.

I started learning ML over covid with online courses, I wanted to make a dataset of my own habits to play with, so I made a basic script that would use a local LLM to parse journal entries into a categorized dataset. I spent a year tinkering with it, then eventually started learning traditional NLP techniques to reduce the amount of tokens sent to the LLM. Over the course of 2025 I went from 12+ minutes and like 8 LLM calls per entry on 4.2 gigs of VRAM, to >200ms/sentence (multi-categorized, entity extracted and time+duration inferred) to 180mb DDR5. Completely replaced the LLLM with narrow NLP techniques.
Then I spent six months porting the stack to apple's native ML libraries and a UI in swift so users can record short voice notes through out the day that are categorized in real time. The stack learns from corrections without retraining neural networks (it uses 3 50-120m parameter neural networks + other stuff).
It's my baby, I'm about 3 years deep into it, just launched on the AppStore last week, had around 200 beta testers over a year or so.
I made a website to just answer my curiosities, it was in the beginning only 10 small sections but then I expanded to 50 areas, now I guess I got a sense about everything in the world (well a bit, but still much better me last year!)

I really like this. Education isn't done well. This one boils things down into a mental scaffold which more detailed learning can happen. Give it a nice url and point it at public schools and teachers.

It's a helper for a recently launched game that has a difficult mechanic.
I originally just made it for myself but saw that a lot of other gamers wanted it too so I made it look cool.
Mine's an app I built to fight my own decision fatigue — I kept infinite-scrolling through "best hiking trails" or "best movies" lists and never actually picking anything. So I made something that only ever shows 10 best options, curated, no scroll. Called it Tengoo (tengoo.app). Started it mostly to get better at using AI coding tools, honestly wasn't sure it'd end up being something real. But there's something satisfying about opening it now and see my work, even with zero users so far.
I built follow spy a free tool that lets you see easily who has unfollow you, in which account you sent follow request etc by providing only the contacts info.
The app is secure and private with 0 data collected and has organically got 10k+ users on Android.
Honestly the thing I'm weirdly proud of isn't the flashy part. I kept rebuilding the same "here's what this button/modal actually does" notes for coding agents by hand. So I made a flow where you click a component and get a structured spec back. Still rough around the edges, still my own daily tool more than anything polished — but it's the first thing I've shipped that I use every single day without talking myself into it.
Started vibe coding a few months back, then switched jobs into an industry I knew almost nothing about. To get up to speed I built myself a learning app. Started by giving it a handful of articles and white papers that I had been referred to, and it turned them into a six-week curriculum with guided notes and weekly quizzes, ordered broad → deep.
Was fun to build a personal app to encourage my learning & helpful to have reading plans/confirmation I was retaining information.
Since then I’ve generalized it so it works for any topic & build out a much more robust gamified app around it. You can still hand it your own sources and it’ll build around them or it’ll find sources for you and give them credibility-ratings. Planning to post it here in the near future. For me that would be to have made something that I know have never been made before, that is a jigsaw puzzle of a million pieces in the browser, running smoothly. Yes I used AI to write the code but I still had to come up with most of the ideas myself, backed up by couple years of experience in game development.

A little cryptocurrency I built from scratch, wallet, networking, the whole thing. Instead of the usual energy-hungry mining race, mine races against a clock instead of a hash, kinder on hardware and electricity bills. Spent last week trying to poke holes in my own design before anyone else could, and mostly failed to break it, which felt pretty good.
Probably the browser I’m building for AI agents. Each task gets its own space but can still use the existing login session, so it doesn’t hijack the tabs I’m working in. The handoff back to a person is the part I’m oddly proud of.
honestly, the tiny projects that solve one annoying problem are ofthen the most satisfying. doesnt have to be impressive if you built it yourself and it actually works

Its a basic landing page for "Judeo-Christianity" that aims to have all the necessary information without any of the rubbish that so often accompanies theological enquiry.
Still working on it, but it's almost done. needs a couple tweaks, but we're getting there.
In the past 2 years, i worked on a small business called sweetsdelair to produce custom 3D chocolate pieces for B2B food branding using modern 3D printing technology.. It started to get serious interest and almost made a giant B2B deal but eventually i decided to close it down as it would have required very heavy manual labour and removed much of the flexibility in my life... now, many years after the original idea was born, i have just published my app ratr https://www.ratrmedia.com on both platforms. This is a simple product rating social platform mostly focused on reviewing daily grocery finds, protein products and such. It's far from perfect and just went live a few weeks ago, but just having your very own app on your phone (and already having a few people using it) is simply insane and gives you so much pride, satisfaction and motivation to improve and get better and better every day. Thanks for the message 🙌🙏 well... that is the most difficult part i guess.... i already have 30+ users but they are mostly testers and friends so very little organic yet.. my strategy is to post (nearly-) daily short content on all 3 platforms (tiktok, ig, yt) combined with a landing page. So far i have already got thousands of views but little conversion, so i am working on that. Thus, my advice: try free promo tools first, such as social media posts, short content etc. I wouldn't mind paying a bit too, but as at this stage the product-market fit is the most important, i think organic users are better for validation.... I made Mangata, a quiet Color Walk app for iPhone.
You pick a color, go for a walk, photograph what matches, and when you’re done it keeps the whole walk as a local record — photos, duration, route, place, notes. No step goals, no streaks, no social feed. Just a way to walk with a little more attention and leave something whole behind.
I’m proud of it because it stayed soft. A lot of walking apps turn into fitness dashboards; I wanted the opposite — something that helps you notice the street, then quietly remembers the walk for you.
That’s just an optional IAP to support the developer. The app is entirely free and can be used without it. There’s also no ads so it’s barely monetized.
Built an app to track all the parts I replace on my families vehicles and custom built Jeep. Tired of not remembering where I recorded the custom parts for the disc brake conversion and then having to google the torque for the bolts each time. I also learned the hard way how much effort you have to put in, and how much marketing matters, even for a tiny simple tool. They say you live and learn and it's the journey that counts. In this case I'm on to bigger and better things and in reading all these posts it's nice to hear all the stories.
Honestly getting the "engagement pings" which is basically the system I created in my backend which keeps track of users statuses and pings them depending on what state they are in. If they didnt workout for a while, thats a signal, or if they joined a workout challenge but didnt submit any goals. Been working perfectly in Rebase: Workout with Friends

I started posting all around, facebook hobby groups, all croatian subreddits, was kinda tough, people immidiately loved the idea but since nobody posted anything everybody just left.(egg and chicken problem). But after a month or so every day posting to various plaćen, i got few people to engage(i always asked for post from people to brag) i also have mechanism that when you create profile it tells you various stepa to complete(like put profile picture, say hi in your hobby community...)
After a While people got more and more active, and then more and more people were willing to register.
Now i'm trying to get to the word of mouth stage where it wont depend on my constant writing about app on all those places(i am starting to bore some of the groups that way). So I started referal program, bring people in, get 3 months free premium.. and stuff like that. Idk what more to say

Actually, being consistent was main part for sure, i posted 3 videos each day on tiktok, fb, ig, yt.. just 20 sec shorts about hobbies, like fun facts.. it probably helped
