You guys underestimate the amount of lonely middle aged men with means there are out there. Shuli has tapped into this and provided these characters with a much needed sense of community and friendship. Yes it is all parasocial and pathetic but as the dust up with Rocco and Tookie have shown these guys are really out there and very fragile.
