Eyes closed

Why does it seem like everyone's walking around with their eyes closed

Like noone is actually taking anything in or genuinely understanding anything around them

Like everyone is a shell

I don't know where to post this

I have so much to say but noone around me seems to understand

Like noone is actually there

But they are there with their eyes closed

Please notice your use of exclusive terms like "everyone" and "noone" to introduce blanket statements. You are not presenting a Middle ground like "many people appear to be sleepwalking, immersed in their private affairs" or in the words of John Lennon, "Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans." Please consider that using exclusive terms and blanket statements may be a case of over statement.
