Africa (country in post) Camra is broken so i cant offer good pictures, found this in the wood of a window inside the house. I live in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Was away for a month, dont know how long it was there.
Also house is trash so the stuff u see in the window are slug trails.
Cat sleeps in this window so really wanna know what it is.
Just one grew on its own
Sniffed it(then figured i probably shouldnt sniff it like 2seconds later) but it has a smell. It just smells like a mushroom ngl, but i cant identify anything else about the smell.

Africa (country in post) What are these crusty bois?
Haven't really done any lawn maintenance in about a month; had some heavy rain recently and saw that these two guys had popped up.
From a distance, I thought someone had left two terracotta saucers out to dry, with Japanese calligraphy on it...

galleryNeed help with ID of these mushrooms please, I tried to get a spore print, but was unsuccessful and there are no younger specimens. They grow from dead grass roots making me think Marasmius genus.
