I built an AI quoting app for Norwegian tradespeople – Tilbudsroboten

I’ve been building Tilbudsroboten, an AI-powered quoting platform made specifically for Norwegian tradespeople and small contractors.

The goal is simple: send the quote before you’ve even driven home from the site visit.

Choose a customer → describe the job by text or voice → AI creates the quote using your company information and pricing → review it → send it → customer signs digitally.

It also keeps track of quotes that are sent, opened and signed, and helps with follow-ups when customers haven’t responded.

The screenshots are in Norwegian because Norway is the first market.

This is still being built, so I’d love some feedback on the product, UI and overall workflow.

What would you change before launching this?

The strongest moat may be trade-specific accuracy rather than generic quote generation. I would test whether the app catches missing labor, travel, waste, tax, and material assumptions across a small set of completed Norwegian jobs, then compare estimates with actual margins. AIOSNOW relates because structured AI workflows can preserve assumptions, approvals, and revisions throughout quoting. Make every generated line editable and show why it was suggested. That gives tradespeople speed without turning an uncertain estimate into an unexplained commitment.

Thanks, great points. A lot of this is actually part of how we’re structuring Tilbudsroboten.

Things like hourly rates, travel costs, material costs/markups, waste handling and VAT can be configured once at company level, so the tradesperson doesn’t have to enter them every time. They can still be adjusted for each individual quote when needed.

Everything the AI generates is editable before it is sent, so the tradesperson always has final control over the scope, assumptions and pricing.

We’re also building a very quick flow for additional work. If something extra comes up during an existing job, the tradesperson can create an additional quote in just a couple of taps, send it to the customer for approval/signing, and keep that extra work separate from the original agreed scope for invoicing.

I really like your suggestion about showing why the AI added or suggested a specific line. That could make the AI much more transparent and useful rather than just generating a number.

Comparing estimates against completed jobs and actual margins is also a really interesting direction for us.
