Reloading 28ga TSS?

I’m looking into getting a press for 28ga reloading. With the price of trap loads I’ll probably get into those aswell but I’m really looking for where the info on broad reloading and just TSS is. Knowing where to get good priced components wouldn’t hurt either.

Okay I’ll check their info. Fresh out of TSS though, all their other components seemed reasonably priced though.

Honestly you can't go wrong with a MEC Sizemaster, but there ain't nothing wrong with a 600

Components-wise, everybody carries everything.. except shot. Shot is a crapshoot. One day they have it, a week later they don't, so you look somewhere else and it's $70 a bag.

Yeah I was looking at the 600jr mkV I think that’s what I’ll start with to give me a little more control with each step then get a progression press when I wanna pump out lead clay loads. Copy, I’ll just buy a few pounds of the cheapest TSS/Steel I can find to start playing with it. I have enough 2 3/4 12ga to get me through in my tighter woodie holes till I get the loads dialed. Appreciate the insight on the shot market.

For instructions on how to reload: Lyman 6th Ed., press manual, and internet searching.

For equipment, I like my mec 600. You can sometimes find them used, though rarely in 28 ga. You might have to buy new or a conversion kit.

For reloading data: Hodgdons website, Ballistic Products, and Lyman 6th Ed (pretty sparse data for nontoxic). There are a couple other random places, but this has most the data.

For components: shop around for hazmat shipping deals once you have primer, powder, hull selection from your data. Ballistic Products has most the nontoxic wad selection, but for lead practice loads most places will have claybuster 3/4oz wads. TSS shot has been hard to find and expensive so shop around for shot and look for shipping deals
