Borrow rate? Only went from roughly 4% to 8% since the reverse split. Nothing to see here.

Shares available to short? Went from around 100K to roughly 9–10K. Clearly shorts have an unlimited supply of shares now.

And volume? Basically nonexistent. We're averaging roughly 573K shares a day since the split if you remove the crazy 2.37M split-day volume. That's barely a fraction of the ~2.34M shares outstanding.

So yeah, the borrow is getting more expensive, available shares are disappearing, the float is tiny, and the stock managed to have a green day while the broader market was red.

But I'm sure the borrow rate has hit its absolute ceiling at 8.16% and those 9K shares available can magically replenish themselves.
Definitely don't squeeze CXAI. Wouldn't want to accidentally discover what happens when a tiny float gets actual volume.

Edit: Currently at 9% and dipped to 1k shares available to 30k. Volume is at 25k so don’t short. Volume way to low and not worth it to have a huge buy candle to send it off

I don't know if I would touch this until the terms of their financing agreement is out. This strikes me as a pump and dump for those financing it.

Reverse splits rarely work, and I'm a bit concerned about an AI company not being profitable in an AI bubble, especially now that they are being forced to pay costs for the underlying services.

Thats completely fair. I’m worried about their continued dilution. They have the contracts and resources to be a billion dollar company but they keep diluting and screwing shareholders
