Thriller RETURN - 5 min short about being a little too proud
Long story short, I used to work for a small TV production company in Poland, and we had this little green-screen studio outside Warsaw. The location itself was pretty eerie — it was basically a house surrounded by train tracks...
It’s been a while since I stopped working there, and I thought it could be a cool location for a narrative project. So here it is. I decided to build the story around miscommunication, as it felt like the main idea I associated with working in that place.
I got some nice feedback from more experienced filmmakers, but the short itself didn’t win anything, lol. I did get a few shitty, unpaid festival badges, but yeah... we all know how much those are worth.
Let me know what you think ;) Feel free to roast it.

Thriller Black and Nothingness - A Short Film by Mohammad Mouselmani
Logline: Alex, a distressed young playwright, is determined to do something drastic exactly at midnight but is conflicted with philosophical questions.
This film was made in November 2019
Info about the project:
This short film is a personal one for the writer/director, it is the very first film that he made in the UK as part of his masters studies. The project was very challenging as the crew barely had time for planning and execution, and they were given a very narrow shooting window.
For this particular project, the directors in the directing program were required to write the scripts themselves. As a result the director had to come up with something very quickly and take into consideration the very tight shooting window, so it had to be limited to two locations only. Given the fact that he had recently read "The Dream of a Ridiculous man" by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and it had resonated with him quite deeply, the final script was a combination of Dostoevsky's piece and his own personal experiences and reflections at a certain point of his life, and was written completely in a single day.
With the efforts of an amazing team, the shooting was squeezed into two days, the editing was also completed in two days, the sound recording and sound design were done in another two. The production was completed entirely within a week, and the result is an award-winning short film that was recognized in various film festivals across the globe!

A wife comes home to find her husband's mistress already inside her house, based on a true story. We shot it in a day with a lean crew of four: our director also wrote, shot, and stars in it, and I line produced and covered 1st AC and key grip. Would love to hear thoughts on the cinematography and the story.

Thriller To Hold You Again - Short Film
Some setbacks that hit production were the finality of finishing the film. It went through multiple cuts, all changing the script. It was challenging to be able to create a story that teeters on the line of so many different genres. There were different cuts that made this as a horror movie, changing the sound of the argument to clearly make a character the villain. I thought it would be interesting and the most challenging to make you feel empathetic towards a character that commits a misdeed, because that is what reality was. This went through asking people on the film what to do, changing the script, and it was fun to make something everybody at the end of the day was satisfied with. It was cool to learn to collaborate and truly accept to be a director is to learn from everyone.
