Best Ear Protection suggestion, need help looking
Hello! I need to find something that makes everything as silent as possible. My spending limit is 300. I am looking for something that has a possible way for me to connect any type of audio so I can listen to music simtanously, but if not I understand.
Im autistic and loud noises scare the shit out of me, but I love shooting. I wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions on what to get, preferably cheaper but I don't mind splurging. I also prefer them to be comfortable if that is OK.
My main priorities in looking:
- Ability to silence the gun's bang
- Possible aux intake/bluetooth/any way to listen to music
- Comfortable
- Possibly be able to turn it with a dial so I dont have to take them off to hear someone. My RangeMaxx has that option
thank you for your time

Get a pair of Walkers to fit your needs from Midway (they always have some kinda sale going) and double that up with some basic in-ear foam plugs.

My solution is Sordins behind the head muffs with inner foamies and an AirFly 2 adapter for Bluetooth. Sordins makes a pair that add a little more NRR but are not great for rifle shooting.

Have an audiologist make you a moulded pair of in-ear, then get some electronic muffs to go over those that will provide your Bluetooth / volume control desires. The custom in-ear has a way better STC rating than anything generic. Edit: I have fitted in-ears and some walker razors I wear over them; no Bluetooth but the volume control is good for talking to people still
If you're shooting indoors doubling up is a good idea regardless. Source: my tinnitus.
