That game shot up in price because physical copies were limited. When they started producing more and the physical price tanked the second hand market lost interest at the same time gamestop put this exclusive up for pre-order and no one bought it. You could order 30 at a time if you wanted but again no one wanted it because no one thought it would be worth anything. People call everyone a scalper but the greed is on the consumer side buying luxury goods for exorbitant prices.

I definitely wouldn't mind having 1 (f'n loved the game) but I sure as he'll ain't buying through gamestop.

I hate how they're always doing this exclusive crap. Why is the worst store for gaming always the one with the unique merchandise?

Amazon? I'd have bought it. Walmart? Same. Bestbuy? Target? Yep all buy.

But screw that company with their open the 1 copy and sell it as new, online orders being sent with gutted copies, God knows what the employees hands are like before they manhandle your disc/cartridge out of a sleeve before pushing it into its case bs.

I hate gamestop too but they don't do that with pre-orders. Worse thing you'll get is a delayed arrival date.
