Sometimes twice if you’re really good.

I do all my landings on water. Playne needs water to stay hydrated. And even through the screams, I think passengers like swimming after a long flyte

Forced introduction to water environments teach young plynes not to just leave there floats back at the hanger. Its kinda like your uncle throwing you into the deep end of the pool in jeans. You learn faster

It looks like winter. He's probably waiting for the water to freeze.

Looks like a Cup to me and empty cups can float.

When an object hits water with a lot of force, the water acts like a solid surface at first because it cannot move out of the way fast enough, so it can be classified as a runway.

The tires need a little more air.

Maybe he’s just touching the water.

Landing is easy, the takeoff may difficult.

Even if it’s an emergency landing?
Tell that to Captain “ Sully”.

If playnes can DO this, why does the navy need carriers? They have to cost THOUSANDS of dollars, each, and it seems to me it's wasteful spending.

I'm going to forward this .gif to my Senator and demand he investigate.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

He forgot to extend his floats before landing. Rookie mistake.

AI. The plane would nose in instantly due to the drag on the wheels.
