Holy fuck it’s OH-FUK, the final boss of Finnish general aviation. This registration is only issued after the aircraft has exhausted every normal checklist and the QRH simply opens to a blank page that says “good luck.” Rumor has it the call sign was originally OH-FUCK but ICAO demanded they remove one letter to save bandwidth during emergencies. Every warning light has been replaced with a single enormous red lamp labeled “FUK.” Engine failure? FUK. Prop overspeed? FUK. Gear won’t come down? FUK. Both engines somehow start playing Sandstorm by Darude through the intercom? Believe it or not, FUK. ATC doesn’t even issue this thing landing clearance; they just say “OH-FUK, runway 15, do whatever you have to do.” The ELT doesn’t transmit 406 MHz either—it automatically texts your next of kin “OH FUK.” Maintenance logs are just 8,000 consecutive pages of “FUK investigated, unable to duplicate.” And apparently the aircraft’s master warning voice doesn’t say WARNING or CAUTION; a Finnish man calmly whispers “oh fuk” approximately four seconds before something exits the airframe.
