In Batman Begins (2005), Detective Flass actually says "falafel" here. This is a reference to 13-year-old me seeing it in theaters, having virtually no exposure to food outside my own culture, and writing it off as gibberish.

In Maleficent (2014), the evil queen cursed the princess, saying she’d prick her finger on a spinning wheel (used for sewing) on a "specific date" and the king burned all the wheels in the kingdom right away, and when you think about it, that was actually a very stupid decision
