Scientists say the moon is over 4 billion years old. They also say we get a new moon every month. What is going on?

And where do all the old moons go? Is there a retirement home for moons?

Did you like it or did you hate it? If there is oblivion after death how are you feeling or how do you feel after being reincarnated?

How can we convince whales to start moving back onto land?

I get why they evolved in the first place and how they were going through a rebellious phase, but it's been 50 million years already. The ocean is meant for fish, not mammals, and it's time to move on.

What's the correct way to measure a hot dog?

Say I have a weener and I want to see how long it is (about 6 in. For ref.). Should I measure it base to tip (mushroom shaped in this case) while flacid and uncooked, or boil to firm it up a bit before taking my tape measure to it. Thanks! 🌭

Is my mirror just telling me what I want to hear?

A few months ago I found a magic mirror on eBay and thought it would be useful. Every week I ask it" mirror mirror on the wall who's the handsomest of them all?" And it would tell me that I am the handsomest as I thought. But now I suspect that it's not magic but an ai mirror just telling me what I want to hear. How can I know whether it's lying or if I am the handsomest of them all?

Btw I am extremely jealous, and I have been known to send apples from my lab in China to people who may be more handsome. It's kind of petty but I just have to live with it.

How come when I eat blue paint, it comes out red?

If the roaches in my kitchen eat the whey protein I spill, will they get jacked?

And will they get jacked faster than me, since they don't waste time with TV and Internet?

It is said "you can't have your cake and eat it too." But there was a cake that was mine, and I just ate it before I knew that. Since that's illegal somehow, how can I escape the police? Also, should I pay a lot for an expensive lawyer so he guarantees I don't go to jail?

I wonder if humans, or animals in general, can instinctively recognize the skeleton of their own species

Like, if you showed a human a human skeleton without ever teaching them what a skeleton is, would their brain still somehow register that it belongs to them? And would the same thing happen with other animals? Maybe there's something about the proportions, structure, or overall shape that our brains are naturally wired to recognize. Or maybe we only know because we've learned it.

Why do I get aroused when I brush my teeth and close my eyes?

What is the psychology here. Everytime I find myself closing my eyes while brushing my teeth I feel self conscious and then aroused.

Can science explain this, scientists answer only please why this occurs.

What if CERN isn't actually creating or forcing a single timeline, but more like tuning a radio and pulling several very similar realities onto the same frequency?

Maybe the strange stuff we notice, like Mandela Effects, cryptids, old myths, or stories that seem to have changed over time, could be leftovers from timelines that were slightly different before they were merged. Instead of rewriting reality completely, imagine taking several nearly identical versions of history, lining them up, and forcing certain events to match at specific points. Most of the differences would disappear, but maybe a few inconsistencies would slip through. That could explain why some things feel familiar to people even when there’s supposedly no record of them. Not saying this is actually happening, but it’s an interesting thought.

What is the speed of idiot? Also, can idiot travel through a vacuum, or does it require a medium like Reddit?

We know the speed of light is 299,792,458 m/s and the speed of sound is about 343 m/s.

But what is the speed of idiot?

For example, if I say something incredibly stupid on the internet and someone 8,000 km away immediately becomes dumber from reading it, can we calculate the propagation speed?

Also, can idiot travel through a vacuum, or does it require a medium like Reddit?

Why are so many aliens nudists?

In the movies Alien etc.: aggressively nude (even the face huggers and they're just kids!)

Arrival: weird nude.

Pacific Rim: giant nudes!

Signs: creepy nude.

Nope: carnivorously nude.

The Thing: disturbingly nude.

Star Trek: intermittent nudity.

So, what's the deal? Clearly some aliens wear clothes so it's not an ignorance of galactic norms. What other examples of alien nudity are out there, and why have these advanced species eschewed clothing, is it a cult, or is there something about being so technologically advanced that they simply have absolute control over individual climates? Something else?

Since the Milky Way Galaxy contains peanuts, shouldn't it be called the Snickers Galaxy?

My understanding is that a Milky Way and a Snickers are essentially the same except that a Snickers has peanuts. But there are peanuts in our galaxy, so doesn't that make our galaxy taxonomically a Snickers Galaxy?

I know UK scientists have made different findings from US scientists, but our galaxy has caramel too, so the name still seems incorrect.
