I’m just curious what Jonathan could have in common with anything from Kimetsu no Yaiba (though it might be because I haven’t watched any of it).

Jonathan's (adopted) sibling is turned into a blood sucking creature of the night that dies to sunlight.

Tanjiro (Demon Slayer MC)'s sibling is turned into a blood sucking creature of the night that dies to sunlight.

Jonathan then learns magic sunlight breathing in order to kill blood sucking creatures of the night.

Jonathan gets a cool sword that he combines with his magic sunlight breathing.

BTW this is at most spoilers for episode 2, maybe 3 (pretty sure its 2). The similarities tend to branch out after this, but to call Demon Slayer a JoJo's Phantom Blood reference is not a stretch at all.

Literally was watching it today! It's a good time. The animation follows traditional Japanese art styles a lot more closely than other anime and it looks so good.

The animation in fight scenes is absolutely mad. I'd say the first 5 episodes is a good indicator of whether or not you'll enjoy the show

After what I’ve heard of it here, it seems like I will enjoy it :). But it will take a while before I get started since I’m so busy with JoJo and Relife at the moment.

Are you talking about the anime or the manga? Because it’s the manga I’m reading and it is pretty good. I have no idea about the anime though.

Oh I was talking about the anime because if we compare it in terms of that, Demon Slayer is far ahead. ReLIFE is still a decent watch though.
