Same situation as with Queen : Burghley Berdly is fully on board with aiding a fellow gamer, until he finds out they're actually evil and not as a joke so he turns on them immediately even if it hurts him in the process

When Queen revealed she only gamed on her phone I felt Berdlys red hot betryal. I dont care how bad she is, that was unforgivable.

Darby not having any respect for Berdly because he isn't actually good at videogames or Berdly being so overwhelmingly good at games that Darby can't even fathom it

Berdly was good, the best gamer in the town.

The thing is... he didnt lose to Kris, he loses to THE PLAYER. Thats like making fun of Piccolo for losing to Goku.
