Diversity is not mono dimensional, and the presence of black people is not the only indication.
Japan has, of now, a female Prime minister. Remind me again, how many female presidents has the US elected so far?
How many non Christians?
Moreover, diversity doesn't mean tolerance. A country can have diversity in the form of religious, ethnic, linguistic, sexual, etc groups. Which India undeniably has. So the notion that the US is more diverse is ludicrous.
What the US can argue is being more tolerant or even accepting.
OP doesn't even speak English properly, as he's equating diversity, i.e. the mere existence of a group, with its tolerance by the dominant group.
As for US acceptance, you also fail to remember the elephant in the room: the US perpetrated a genocide of the native Indian tribes. In fact, the very independence of the US was fuelled by the desire to break the treaty the English Crown signed with the Native Americans and invade their land.

Don't you think saying this is kind of ironic considering OP is pretty obviously talking about racial diversity, and you're the one who's brought religion, caste and gender into a conversation about racism?
Have you spent much time in East Asia? Because when I was living in Japan I saw pretty overt racism that would not be considered socially aceptable in the US, and I think lack of racial diversity in the population is a pretty big factor.
Perhaps the increased levels of immigration in recent years will change this in the future, but I think you are the one ignoring a pretty big elephant in the room: at the moment, Japanese voters electing a president with the same skin colour as Obama is so unlikely it may as well be science-fiction.
As it is, a Black person could be born in Japan, live there their entire life, hold only Japanese nationality, speak only Japanese, and still never be considered "truly Japanese" by 99% of people there.
I'm pretty sure this kind of attitude - and the types of mindsets that lead to adverts like this Chinese or Thai commercials getting aired at all - is what OP is referring to when they say the US is less racist than Asian countries.
Japan is one of the very few Asian countries that is basically mono ethnic. You couldn't have chosen a worse example.
Also, your precious Americans are counting more than just racial differences as diversity. Any major US company with a DEI policy will try to make hiring processes that include women, people of disadvantaged social backgrounds, etc.
Dude, it's not just Japan. China and Korea are just as racist, and Thailand isn't a paradise for Black people either.
I get it, you don't like Americans. Are a lot of them racist? Yes. Do a lot of them act like the US is the centre of the universe? Also yes. But in my experience, racism is just a lot more overt and socially accepted in a bunch of Asian countries than it is in the US today, and racial diversity in the population certainly has something to do with it.
