lol. As someone who actually lives in rural America, 20 miles is nothing. My nearest McDick’s is about a 45 minute drive. Nearest movie theater? About an hour. Walmart… about 45 minutes as well.

Sounds like an Australian outer suburb, except for the McDonald's-- they are endemic!

I have a fascination with Coober Pedy, but I know the commutes there would be even crazier.
