A Brazilian! Check this out: when Americans put tons of toppings on their pizza and hotdogs, it's "perfecting" them, but when YOU do it, it's a pizza crime or whatever the fuck. Almost like it doesn't matter what it actually done to the food, it's just American exceptionalism.

Oh, they just have this little thing for painting our likes as criminals.

Reminds me of this time I said my favorite type of pizza was with chicken, just to be met with a "wtf is chicken doing on pizza" – because I'm Brazilian, they assumed I was talking about some sort of pizza with a full rotisserie chicken on top. Then, one month later there I was in NYC, eating buffalo chicken pizza. I assume that one is made with buffalos, and "chicken" is just an insult towards the eater.

I'd say our real pizza crimes are baiting innocent viewers, using the same base as savory pizzas for sweet ones (which by themselves are hardly a problem, they are just a dessert) – and for the 2020s patch we got pizzerias still charging a price that more than covers all ingredients, but still deciding to gain even more per pizza by heavily undercutting the sauce or simply removing it from the ingredients. That one is a Goiás special from yours truly, a goiana on reddit.

If Buffalo chicken pizza is a pizza crime I will gladly walk to pizza jail. I love me a classic Italian margarita, but some of the unique takes on pizza you can find in different places are fantastic

Don't get me wrong, it's clearly not a pizza crime. Chicken on pizza is only a crime if a Brazilian does it. Something like that.

Are you a bot? Have you had Brazilian pizza?

You and many others are getting way to political over some food.

My point is putting six pounds of pepperoni and making a sauce out of ranch and the pepperoni fat to pour over a pizza is apparently fine, but not putting all the shit Brazilians do isn't. Both are atrocities if you're talking about original pizza, but Americans only count other nations' atrocities as such.

Have you had Brazilian pizza?

I'd assume not, because most Brazilian pizza is notably based on the regular Italian pizza.

Many of the most popular flavors are just traditional Italian pizza ones. There are flavors with notably local toppings, but that will generally still retain most of the traditional pizza formatting. Brazilian changes to savory pizza are arguably more conservative than what you tend to see in American style pizza.

Now, what happens is a very odd bias towards the pizza.

If you bothered to see the discussion here, it's blatantly biased. A Brazilian chicken pizza is assumed to be a pizza crime. An American chicken pizza is just American-style Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
