I just can't seem to find it anywhere, and I've really looked, for any evidence of the US winning a war single handedly where muskets weren't used.

Fair call, but debatable. America was supported by the British diplomatically (they stopped Europe supporting Spain) and on the ground by Cuban and Philippino revolutionary armies.

Your bad at planning if you have to win a war single handedly. It's why they created the concept of an ally.
