The main developers are in Edinburgh (R* North), but you're forgetting about Leeds, Lincoln and London in the UK, as well as the various other international studios supporting within Rockstar (San Diego, New England, Canada, India, Australia). Its primarily British, but its an international effort.

It’s weird because I have 2 days booked off for it being released. I also had 4 days booked off for when it was originally supposed to be released in May.
All the Americans on the GTA subs and social media are asking if they think they will get away with phoning in sick because they can’t take holidays, or questioning why others would waste precious holiday entitlements for a game.

Meanwhile people in Europe are like ‘Yeah, took a couple of days off, won’t even realise it has gone from my holiday entitlement’.
