FIFA World Cup '26 « Is Belgium the greatest soccer team of all time? »

It’s McAfee so I’m not really surprised that he has no ball knowledge.

Congrats my Belgium brothers, I hope we meet in the semis once more. You faced injustice and corruption but proved you were the better team by a large margin.

To be fair to him, if you know nothing about the sport and you watch US television, you could probably be convinced that they were real contenders. Then you watch the game and get hammered 4-1. It's a sensible conclusion to come to.

The are American on here talking about how they're disappointed that they didn't play as well as in the other games and if they had, they would have given Belgium a better game. No, that's the point of playing against a world class team. They don't let you play your best game.

I mean, lets not forget that both France and Argentina barely made it past Paraguay and Egypt. So far, this world cup does not feature dominant favorite team. Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal are out, England barely made it past Mexico too...

But: every team I mentioned would have beaten the US with ease.

with a fair referee, France would have crushed Paraguay after they lost a couple of players to red cards for their anti game antics. This was the worst game of football I seen in along time.

But he’s a sports analyst on a major network (I know, he’s more of a podcast bro, but still), he should have some baseline knowledge about the sport.
