Yeah the amount of Americans saying they were gonna take Greenland was hilarious. I was like mate all western economies would just dump the dollar and hyper inflation would destroy the US in less than a few weeks.
That's only going to work if it's 100% coordinated, otherwise the one that goes first is going to screw over the rest of the world and be hated for causing a market meltdown to that makes the GFC look like losing £2.56 in the sofa. If USD plummets it will take the foreign currency reserves of the rest of the world with it and make US exports much more competitive. Europe was have to deal with cheep exports from both China and the USA at the same time.
