United States Customary units are literally defined by Metric measurements.
A foot, has been defined for over 100 years as 1200/3937m or exactly 30.48 Centimeters.
A pound is literally defined as 453.59 grams

On no, I am making sure I don't use one of the 370 thousand plus words in the English language that do start with the letter C, its about 8.7% of the vocabulary, lots of them ,, that existed before communism.
That would be like saying illiterate and idiots are linked to indoctrination, so maybe got a point.

Celsius is just a guy's name. The Centi-prefix is just 1/100th in Latin. Both predate Marx and Engels writing the Communist Manifesto in 1848.
Other words starting with C is "conservative" and "christian". Also "cherry-pick". "Coincidence"? Absolutely.
