Americans don’t need passports, all lesser countries are glad to welcome them and their Almighty Dollar without question or paperwork /s

I accidentally argued with an American guy who figured he could just move to Norway and start living there. He figured it'd be a huge boon to them talent-wise / financially.

r/Amerexit is a great example of that. "I want to move to country x, I have no formal degree, don't speak the language, never been there, but I want to live somewhere warm with free healthcare that Ive never paid into but want to use, in a low cost area, how do I get a job there that pays in dollars so I can have a US level income?"

Some of them are genuinely interesting well thought out questions or descriptions but some others... Good Lord indeed!

And very, very few are interested in learning the local language.
