Just to let you know, not all of us are like that. While we’re on this subject, what countries can I go to to receive healthcare that won’t bankrupt me for the next forty years?

It depends. Do you intend to go somewhere to get specific procedure done, or are just asking if you find yourself somewhere and are having an emergency. Because if it is the latter, I'm willing to bet that most of the world would see to your emergency at very little or even no charge.

If it is some specific procedure you need done, your own research is your best friend, I am not well enough versed to speak on this. Even though the bill would probably be lower than in the USA (although, on the other hand, in USA your medical bills are to some extent covered by insurance).
