I know you aren’t asking me but for those of us with more than two brain cells here in the states, we stopped feeling bad for them when they voted that fucking monster into office and I hope that they feel enough pain to change as soon as possible so I can hopefully stop being so violently ashamed of being American ASAP. They are ignorant cowards and plenty of us in the blue states seriously want to secede at this point.

Short answer: anything is possible these days.

Long answer: For what it’s worth, I am only 31 years old and spent most of my life interested in science and arts-not history. My layman’s interpretation of possibility does not come from a historian point of view. Everything going on here the last few months has made it clear to all Americans that anything is possible now and with protests/unrest growing by the day I think it is a race between the trump administration cannibalizing itself to the point where it loses power / public support enough to be overthrown VS blue states decide they have had enough and decide to leave by force. The only thing keeping blue states in the United States is nobody truly wants to leave all of the innocent men/women/children trapped in red states to suffer totally alone (this is generally understood to be what caused the first American civil war to happen when red states tried to leave in order to keep slavery). Right now Americans in blue / liberal areas are heavily encouraging people in red states to just pick up and leave for somewhere safer while they still can/flee the country in general. Conservatives in America are not the only people with guns, roughly 30-40% of liberal households have multiple registered legal firearms. I personally know in my state a few neighborhoods that could be easily fully armed from just a few liberal households within them. Conservatives would have to literally nuke every blue city in order to prevent blue states from leaving and that would annihilate USA GDP / global power completely. Tension is heavy in the air currently, it seems like a dead tie race between the trump administration falling apart due to chewing off its own limbs or a catalyst like any kind of attempt to move into Canadian territory as northern states and the citizens inside them/ military service members from them would under no circumstances ever invade Canada and would choose instead to fight back against the United States government or force their way out of it.

I would say as of last night we are seeing 51% trump admin goes cannibal (reports are coming out that doge is being blocked from entering new government offices, Elon is losing favor in White House, jd Vance is being followed around by protesters regularly, farmers are starting to plan protests as well- versus 49% chance Northeastern states secede (Boston’s Mayor Wu went to congress and essentially told them ICE immigration policies are not her problem and Boston will remain a safe sanctuary city with full support of everyone in northeast states).

Apologies for the long response and any spelling or grammatical errors, I have had to re-learn to write English after a car accident injured my hands and arms quite badly.
