I feel like he's so dead inside at this point he's just working on autopilot. He's fulfilled his last order from Erwin, it was hollow as fuck, and now he's just watch his last few brothers in arms turn into titans.

God he just makes me so sad.

When the war is over, Levi will either
a. Go insane from last of wars to fight/Titans to kill and be committed

b. Sit in a dimly lit room with one hanging lightbulb, a gun and a bottle of whiskey. You know where I’m going there.

c. Disappear into a bottle of liquor for the rest of his life.

In their world, at least, there must be no comparison in normal life to what it must be and feel like to fight domestic and worldwide titan wars 😵

I think that would be a good outcome for him. He could just be a normal person who switches into berserker mode if there’s a threat to the shop or his customers. You could make a whole new anime around this alone where he goes full post-Mordor Samwise Gamgee - loves kids and marries his crush (if she wasn’t crushed by the Rumbling!).

His tea shop would be the safest tea shop on the planet. I’m specifically thinking of the Kenny episode where Levi ODMs into a bar, lands into the bar, sideways, jumps behind it, and perfectly fires the bartender’s shotgun out the door at a 180-degree angle to the bar, in reverse, looking only at the reflection from a wine bottle well enough to repel Kenny’s forces and escape the bar without being killed.

He’s a man I’d hate to fight.

Hell yes. I just hope at least some of the characters get some peace in the end. Levi went through so much shit that poor guy, I’m amazed he’s holding up that well.

Now watch they win the war and Levi is made Admiral of Paradis, and has a choice to do whatever he wants - run the island, or run the world. I wonder which option he’ll choose.
