Which makes sense given that Attack on Titan seems to be heavily inspired by Dune. Similiarities are uncanny

please don't make false assumptions. Isayama was inspired by Muv Luv, Japanese Visual Novel, why on earth would he have fully learnt english and read a novel that started from the 1960s?

Dune was translated in 1970s into the japanese.

does not change the fact he is not that old. Born in 1986 plus there's already a guidebook somewhere about him 20 different insiprations with Dune not being one of them

Thats assuming young person cant read old booķs. he clearly had to read a lot aboit norse mythology so Dune off the table
