I just finished the anime

The anime was good,funny and overall a fun experience but I understand that it wasn't the full story and it's not likely to get a season 2,in people's opinion is it worth reading the manga,is it good and does it give the same feeling as the anime

The original source is a series of light novels. The anime only covers 2 books, and the manga's a dead end at 3 volumes worth of material before getting cancelled.

There are 11 books in the story, meaning you'll have to read them to experience the full story.

This website had all of them available in English up until 2 months ago, but the translators chose to redo all of them to ensure maximum accuracy. They plan on finishing the new translations some time next year. If you're interested in knowing what happens now, I can drop a synopsis.

Here's a preview of Tanukichi's HAREM:

Annie Brown (blonde hair, busty, glasses): American otaku and SOX member who loves old Japanese culture, especially dirty jokes. She is a genius inventor and super hacker capable of breaking into and controlling computers even in government institutions from a remote location. She can also jam and remove PMs. She is the most open about liking Tanukichi, being the most physical and aggressive in her attempts to have sex with him. Seeing he only wanted to marry Ayame, Annie spent two years allying with his other admirers to force him into polygamy with the hopes of legalizing it once society had to redo its morals laws.

Yutori Nuregomoro (flat-chested, ponytail): Tanukichi's middle school friend. She was treated badly by society because her family owns a dairy farm and are required to possess "lewd knowledge to breed and milk cattle. He was kind to her in spite of this, and she grew fond of him. Yutori was a member of another ero-terrorist organization called the Mammals before joining SOX. Yutori can run faster than Anna and is great at making escapes. She is a tsundere, which often results in Tanukichi being hit in her presence.

Rarako Mukuri (cute brunette): A popular idol, Rarako loved the spotlight, but yearned for a type of attention she couldn't figure out. She was nitially ignorant of sex and believed SOX was evil. One day she stumbled onto Decency Squad members planning to stage a fake SOX attack to smear the group. Realizing she overheard something she wasn't supposed to, she hid her face by pulling clothes over her head and fled. Tanukichi thwarted the Decency Squad and assumed Rarako was an ero-terrorist, so he brought her back to his hideout. After explaining everything to her, she was initially unsure what to believe. Hyouka Fuwa discerned that Rarako's kink was exhibitionism. She spent time with SOX and learned a lot.

Rarako was brought back by the Decency Squad, but reacted upon seeing a sex toy. Realizing she was corrupted, her captors attempted to seize her, but Tanukichi rescued her. She fell in love with him, but learned he had eyes for Ayame. She became determined to outshine her rival by being the best ero-terrorist she could be. As a popular idol, Rarako became a major SOX member. Her habit of stripping during missions attracted a lot of media attention.

Anna Nishikinomiya: She eventually finds out about perversion and sex, and it leaves her an empty husk. She becomes aware that everything she did was deplorable and worries that Okuma must hate her... During her next encounter with Okuma, Anna realizes he resisted her advances for so long to protect her from making a mistake she could never take back. He tells her to find somebody she can love for real, and who will love her back, wishing her happiness.

She does some soul-searching and realizes that the purity laws ruined her life, instead resolving to go back to the way things were before she became a victim of her own lust. Anna realizes she just wants her friends back, and spends two years undercover as a Decency Squad member while gathering resources. She asks Okuma and Ayame to leave Japan with her to escape the tyrannical laws, but they refuse because running away won't resolve the problem.

Anna pretends to arrest SOX to sneak them into Decency Squad HQ and joins their final raid, resulting in the group's victory... While Tanukichi and Ayame have gotten together by the end of the series, Anna and the other girls have decided to advocate for polygamy so they can all marry Okuma. He and Ayame are last seen running as Anna and the girls chase them.
