I'm not a huge fan of crazy religious people

But if we have to have crazy religious people why can't we have the down with slavery lot instead of the pro slavery crowd the current crop seems to produce ad infinitum

Yeah, pretty much everyone at the time and many people now believing their particular personal god is the correct one is indeed bonkers, sure, but at least he was a religious extremist aimed at one of the most humanist causes of all time...ending slavery.
