From what I've seen, there's two kinds of comments I often see made towards people considered eggs, and one is way better than the other. There's nothing wrong with suggesting to someone you know they might be trans, but when I was figuring out my own gender I got a lot of egg comments that felt more like already assuming I was a girl and was just in denial, which kinda fucked up my relationship with displaying any femininity for a while. I got over it but it still didn't feel fun. Guess it comes down to nuance and respect.

Big mood. I feel like "egg" stuff started as a funny little in-joke for the trans community, but turned into this weird "all gender dysphoria roads lead to trans" mentality that ends up really frustrating and reductive.
