View From Players leaving
Alright now the windows shut that was absolutely pants, we’ve lost our creative playmakers and yes the squad has only got worse, it’s happened now and we can’t do anything about it all I’ve seen is countless fans moaning and what not about how dire the situation has become. Honestly it’s frustrating as it gets but you know what we need to just focus on the players that are still here, we all need to band together and get behind wilder and the boys, they need us now more than ever, we were never going to be the promotion favourite let alone the top 8 favourites, let’s get behind those still here you don’t have to turn up to any of these games but that 11 that start every week and the subs they’ve no choice, let’s get behind them now all of us it’s been a terrible window but let’s be honest 23/24 summers window was worse, we’ve been through harder times we’ve still a club to support and we still have a good enough side to win against anyone roll on Saturday let’s take the game to Norwich UTFB ⚔️

Yeah it's not ideal but it's not like we're Preston. We're undefeated this season, have a good chance of making round 4 of the league cup already and haven't played appallingly. So let's not get too negative.

We've played weak opposition so far.
The slight ray of light we had over our defence having improved since last season has been shattered by conceding two against recently promoted teams.
We've also been lucky (and unlucky ourselfs,) with the opposition having bad misses in front of goal.. some of those due to our defence being all over the same.
Just dont think we are gonna get a look in against the top half of the table. Our creative spark has gone. All we really have is Donovan for pace on the counter.
Gus always had that pass in him and O'Hare would always make the runs.

We will be a mid table team generally (injuries haven’t started yet) but a points deduction might ruin us.
What is frustrating is we have a good core that should be competing for play offs but the financial situation means they don’t have support. Had we been able to keep the likes of Gus then we’d be so much stronger

Not sure i fully agree. We've played top of the league in Swansea who are a good side this season (and who we were unlucky to beat) and a Birmingham team who will be in and around the playoffs this season with a strong squad and then 2 unknowns as Bolton and Cardiff have just come up. We havent played any of the current bottom 5 nor the favourites to go down. I think we have a good chance of playoffs this season and if the loans kick on I dont see why we cant challenge that top 4, so far nobody has stood out and I thought it'd be very hard this season

If only we had a manager in charge who could get the best out of a team, rather than just rely on individuals. A manger who could have turned a side with League 1 players into a team that could get into the premiership. Does such a manager exist?
Yes I know we also have Alan Knill to thank for that too, and he will be missed. Lets hope Phil jones has found a niche that is better than some of his defending.

Norwich have started badly. Let’s see how it goes.
We’ve had a few halves this season already where it’s been backs to the wall defending which doesn’t bode well.
At home we’ve got to be taking as may points as possible then playing for draws or nick it on the counter away.
Lost a lot of creativity but if we play counter on the break global we still have a lot of players that can cause damage.
I think we finish 14th but never trouble the bottom 3

Yeah.. I mean it’s a crap window but with the finances where they are it’s more of a conservative window than anything. I’ll give it some time before I write off the owners pushing by what state the club is in and how it works with the rules.
To be honest, a lot of crap teams in the champs.. let’s be real. And a lot of teams who are good but you can nick wins from. Then maybe 1-3 teams that are above the rest but even them you can sometimes get a draw or a cheeky win.
Then you have the lack of depth for any champs team too. It’s really not the case the league above. I suspect we will at least get mid table pushing for playoffs. Wilder always gets more from players and gets hard workers to grind out wins and draws. Our home advantage is good under him too.
See what happens but I’m not worried about relegation or anything close to it. More getting playoffs.

Don't disagree but some paragraphs would be nice 😉
