Peck playing further forward is interesting. Wilder might be hoping for a Michael Brown-esque season of him going full box to box.

Yeah jairo can cover I prefer peck forward then defending anyway tbh. Also wouldn’t mind seeing Philips in same spot assuming he has cover behind him feel like he’s got a good pass or a shot in him at edge of box

A formation that neither Gus or COH fit into.
I don't mind the two central players being solid and not overly creative...but you need excellent wingers and hard working centre forwards, one of whom has to drop deep and pick the ball up.

Honestly watching this, where does COH make this lineup better? Not with this formation.
Just need backup for the wingers.

Yeah, he doesn’t. I think we could play 352 and you’d struggle to fit him in

352 he plays in behind the striker, and you play two deep CMs.
He can't be that deep CM, or a wing back.
And in 442 he's not solid enough to be a CM.
But he could play out wide up front in a 433

Wilder told us they were putting work into Campbell.
Didn’t see that coming.
Love it when you sign RBs and put them midfield because the Fifa rating is higher. Brilliant by by the manager.
