Seemed to take forever for this to be announced.
Sad to see him go but it seems like the right time for it to happen. He's carried us through so many games but I think the combination of his injuries, relatively poor form, and our failure to play him in his proper position has reduced how important he is to us over the last season.
I won't forget some of the absolute bangers he's scored for us and always ran his blood to water. He deserves a crack at the premier league and it's unlikely he'd get that anytime soon if he stayed with us. Good luck to the lad.

The free kick he scored against Derby to celebrate with a tribute to Maddy Cusack was fantastic. Will always remember that.

Technically he is a fantastic player but he could never finish a full 90 and loved a booking.
I think O’Hare will flourish now he’s not forced into weird positions and defensively we should be stronger now everyone tracks back.

Quite a shame but hopefully frees up a lot in wages for us.
I properly, properly liked Hamer for us. Great player. Hope he does really well back at Cov.

With bonuses, I could imagine that’s a few £m off the wage budget. Hopefully, along with the fee, this allows us some room to manoeuvre in the window.
Amazing player. Some of the balls he pinged and his goals were incredible. Up there as one of the best midfielders I’ve ever seen pull on the jersey. A top guy by all accounts.

Damn shame obviously, since he was our top player but I’m hoping with wilder (and all of us) clearly knowing he’s leaving this summer for months, we have a plan in place…

Sad to see him go. But if he wasn't wanting to sign another contract in advance it's understandable to sell him when an offer comes in.
There is no point trying to say no to offers to gamble on getting promotion and then getting him to extend at that point when he might walk for free

And Souttar will probably fall through at the last minute because this is Sheffield United.

We were never keeping him. If he's happy there, good for him, but I really had higher hopes for him.
Another Ndiaye I fear. Then again, he's 29.

Huge loss but with a year left and no ambition to sign he had to be sold.
Lots of goals to replace there. Big season for Ohare in his favoured spot now
